Water is one of the elements for success. Why?
- Water suppresses the appetite. Water carries nutrients to cells and regulates body functions. Since the hunger mechanism is stronger than thirst, keeping hydrated will eliminate a false feeling of hunger.
- Water has zero calories. If you substitute your normal sugary drinks for water, you could lose a good amount of weight.
- Water helps flushes out toxins and waste from the body. The kidneys uses water to get rid of waste. If you don’t drink enough water, your kidneys will not have the amount of fluid they need to do their job properly.

DRINK ON A SCHEDULE
Spacing out your water throughout the day will ensure that your body is hydrated, replenished, and gets rid of excess water weight. If you only consume water when you are thirsty, your body will be depleted of necessary fluids and retain the water weight.
ADD FLAVOR TO YOUR WATER
Water doesn’t have to be boring. Try adding fruit and vegetables to your water for flavor. Citrus fruits, such as lemons, limes, and oranges, are great classic water enhancers.
